Trip to Cincinnati

Well, Mical and I headed to Cincinnati at the beginning of this week and it has been a BLAST! Mical has had so much fun seeing his grand and great grand parents. We arrived on Tuesday and will be leaving on Sunday. We flew up here from Birmingham and it was suprisingly a GREAT trip. Mical did awesome! We flew from Birmingham to Atlanta and then Atlanta to Cincinnati and Mical and I both slept on btoh legs of the trip it was very nice!

Mical's Great Grandma Mimi was here to visit with his Aunt Sarah from California and his Aunt Debbie from Chicago. This week was full of meeting new family members and relaxing! When his Great Grandma Mimi was here we celebrated her 90  Birthday!! As a family we were finally able to spread my fathers ashes. It was something that was so meaningful to everyone. I can not wait to explain to Mical where his middle name came from!

Mical is getting SO much better, he is not crying as much and has really calmed down! I have had a lot of help here in Cincinnati getting Mical on a schedule napping in the morning and evening and sleeping 5-6 hours a night! We go in two weeks for Mical to get the first round of his vaccinations. I am pretty sure that Jonathan will have to go with us :)

We head back to Birmingham in the car with Aunt Lindsay who will stay until next weekend! This week is going to be VERY busy since we are moving into our new place! I will keep you all posted since now Mical will have his very own room painted, decorated and his very own furniture!

Here are just a few pictures from this week! Love to all!!

It's May!

Well, we have made it to May. Mical will be 6 weeks old this Thursday and things are finally starting to settle down. The past 3 weeks have been some of the toughest weeks thus far. We have been to the Dr more in the last 3 weeks then I think I have been in my whole life!!! Between Dr's and the emergency room we are finally starting to settle into how Mical is acting.

Mical is currently eating Similac Hypoallergenic formula and taking prevacid. Dr's say that if those two things do not help the screaming then Mical has colic. If Mical DOES have colic then right now is going to be the worst and things should get better around the middle of May. I do have to say I am noticing a little bit of a difference. We are just trying to keep Mical as calm and comfortable as possible.. Tough life :)

In GREAT news... Mical rolled over to his back for the first time last night. It was incredible! Such an awesome feeling for me and Jonathan! We were in awe!! Here is a short clip of Mical rolling!

Mical and I head to Cincinnati tomorrow and will be there for a week. I am very excited yet anxious to fly with him. I know we can do it! I am very excited to see my Cincinnati friends and family!

Hope all is well, we will keep you posted on sir pouty pants :)

Love Jane, Jonathan and Mical.
